Make sure when you buy birds nest there are fake ones and so make sure you get the real thing! The real birds nest will have small feathers in the product and is really costly! I bought my whole box for $800 bucks at a Chinese herbal medicine store. Also the birds nest should taste and smell eggy! It’s very gelatin like and taste and smells like egg whites. But it tastes so much better when you add rock sugar into it which helps mask the eggy taste!
